What’s so good about Yoast SEO Premium?
In addition to the same features as the free version, Yoast SEO Premium adds the following benefits:
Redirects module
This is a feature that allows you to redirect the old link to the new link to fix 404 errors and avoid losing search rankings. Although WordPress has many other plugins that possess similar features. However, being available is still better, right?
Access SEO => Redirects to use this feature. If you want to hear the author “slash” about this feature, you can watch more in the video below.
Internal linking
To put it simply, this feature will suggest you related articles while writing articles to create internal links quickly and effectively. Watch the video below to better understand how it works.
After installing and activating Yoast SEO Premium, go to SEO => Dashboard to run the internal link recommendation generation process:
After running, you will get results like this:
Social previews
This feature will allow you to preview and edit how your posts will appear on Facebook and Twitter. You can edit the title, description and even the avatar image instead of letting them display automatically.
Multiple focus keywords
This is the last but very important feature. Yoast SEO Premium allows you to focus on many keywords at once in an article, instead of just 1 keyword like the free version. SEO many keywords at the same time will definitely help the search efficiency increase quite a bit. In case you optimize good content, of course.
The number of keywords that you can focus on is up to 5. However, in reality, I don’t think anyone can SEO more than 3 keywords in an article. The title and description are too short to cram so many keywords.
In addition, Yoast SEO Premium also completely removes the ads in the plugin’s settings, making it look cleaner.
Upgrade from Yoast SEO Free to Yoast SEO Premium
You can upgrade from Yoast SEO free to Yoast SEO Premium simply, through 3 steps:
- Deactive Yoast SEO is free.
- Upload, install and activate Yoast SEO Premium.
- Remove Yoast SEO for free.
Setup data from Yoast SEO Free will automatically be transferred to Yoast SEO Premium.
Are you using Yoast SEO Premium or not? In your opinion, should you spend money to upgrade to the paid version or is the free version more than enough? Let us know your opinion in the comment box below.
