Personally, I use both Vultr and DO, in Vietnam, Vultr is more popular, due to easy registration and many promotions.
I was recently blocked by a DO block due to a problem creating an account access group. The number is that I deploy a new application, and there are more people participating in the code, and partners need to access the account to install additional software to serve that application.
So I created a group account, added email and invited members according to DO’s instructions, but DO’s member authentication feature was broken and the partner couldn’t access it.
I struggled forever to solve it, I always sent the user information, the account password to the partner for him to access.
A few days later, DO blocked the account with the suspicion of fraud or something!
I must say that my partner, as well as myself, do not have any abuse of DO, the payments are also timely with real cards, and real money.
After contacting DO’s customer service and telling them to double check it a few more times, their answer was still as solid as that that my account had a problem and needed to be blocked, along with the words The message is that they will not explain further the reason for the block because of the security of the system!
Then I said: OK, it’s okay, but can I refund my money still quite a lot in my DO account? They refused and said that I had to handle the matter myself with the intermediary payment provider!

Conclusion: having a clear position and voice bring advantages in conflicts of interest. Even if you have done nothing wrong, if your voice is too weak, people will think you are wrong!
I still use DO anyway, because of their really good quality, but will need to be more careful to avoid misunderstandings like this.
