Download and install the Akismet . plugin

Activate and enter API key for Akismet
For the Akismet plugin. After activation, you must enter the API key. If you don’t import it, the plugin’s functionality won’t work. To get Akismet’s API key, go to the following link:

Once in there, click the SIGN UP button next to Personal or the Get Personal button. If the system asks you to log in, please log in first. Up until now, Akismet has been connected to a WordPress.com account.
You drag the price slider to 0$ and it’s OK right there. Finally, click the Complete button to complete. You wait a bit for the system to process. Once done, the system will forward you to the API key management page.
You copy the API key and go to the plugin’s dashboard to enter this code. Save the configuration and you have successfully activated the SPAM Akismet anti-comment plugin. From time to time you check the SPAM section in WordPress comments. If there is something wrongly marked, you can remove that comment, otherwise you can just empty (delete all) the SPAM section.
